Rob Underhay is a driving instructor with over 10 years of experience, on a mission to make roads safer and new drivers more confident. As the founder of The World of Driving, he’s transforming driver training with expert guidance, innovative experiences, and a focus on real-world skills.
A passionate campaigner for road safety, Rob champions black boxes for all drivers under 25 and unites driving instructors across the UK through DIU – Driving Instructors Unite, bringing the community together to share expertise and promote safer driving. With Rob, driving isn’t just a test—it’s a path to confidence, skill, and safety.
He has worked with the Mercedes Benz World team in Weybridge, coaching young drivers in helping them to experience the thrill of driving a car, along with adults and the Mercedes G wagon 4 X 4 experience.
