A Message to Parents:   Why Safety is Our Only Priority

As the founder of The World Of Driving, a driving instructor, and—most importantly—a father, I understand the mix of pride and anxiety that comes when your child starts learning to drive.

We all want them to have that independence, but we also know how vulnerable new drivers are. I know this better than most; just three months after passing my own test at 17, I put my father’s car around a lamppost. I was lucky to walk away, but it taught me a lesson I carry into every lesson we teach: Passing the test is easy; staying safe for life is the real challenge.

Why we recommend the 48-Hour Complete Pass

The DVSA reports that the average learner needs around 45 to 50 hours of professional tuition to be truly test-ready. We designed our 48-hour package to meet this gold standard because "just enough" training isn't enough for Surrey’s busy roads.

With the 48-Hour Package, your child receives:

  • More than just 'Test Routes': We include dedicated sessions on Motorway driving and Rural roads, ensuring they’ve handled high-speed merges and narrow country lanes with a professional beside them before they do it alone.

  • Consistent Muscle Memory: 1.5-hour lessons provide the perfect balance of time to learn, practice, and retain skills without the fatigue of longer sessions.

Our Promise to You

Our instructors are hand-picked not just for their high pass rates, but for their patience and attitude. We treat every student as if they were our own child, ensuring they are calm, confident, and—above all—safe.

Invest in their safety today, and give them the skills to last a lifetime.

Why New Drivers Are at High Risk —
And How Our Courses Help

Our courses give you real-world experience, expert guidance, and structured practice to stay safe and build confidence behind the wheel

Many of these accidents are linked to factors such as inexperience, over‑confidence, limited hazard perception and a lack of exposure to challenging driving conditions (rural roads, motorways, night driving, etc.).

Benefit from the right training: data shows that the more skilled a driver is after passing their driving test, the safer they are.

That’s exactly why we designed our courses the way we did:

We have designed these courses to build safer drivers, not just test-ready drivers — because road safety starts long before the driving test.

What Our Courses Include
— And Why

My Drive Time App

This app helps track progress, lessons, private practice, goals and readiness for the driving test. It keeps learners organised and motivated throughout their journey.

Theory Training App

The most complete online revision for learner drivers

Learners who use DTS Anytime are 3 times more likely to pass their theory 1st time.

Driving Lessons by a Fully Qualified ADI Driving Instructor

Practical experience is the foundation of learning to drive. These lessons progress in difficulty according to the learner’s course level.

Rural Road Training

Rural roads demand advanced hazard perception and risk awareness. We prioritise this essential skill set to create safer, more adaptable drivers.

Motorway Driving Experience

Motorways can be intimidating for new drivers. Providing early exposure in a structured, supportive environment helps build confidence and competence.

Mock Driving Test

A mock test reduces anxiety, identifies areas for improvement and helps learners understand what to expect on test day.

Driving Test Day

We will give you a quick rundown of what to expect, remind you of key skills and safety checks, and offer calm guidance to help you feel confident before meeting the examiner.
